Pretty well everything about this bike will be "excessive"... it's going to be big, long, heavy and over the top but trust me, it will be more than just a big fat wheel attached to a frame....

If you build it, i´m shure it will be.....

And I´m curious, how this tire will affect on a bicycle.

And the rims are really amazing. Are this motorcycle rims? Did you broadened it? Or it´s original?
How large is the rearmost rim?

Thanks...LOL.... In this context, I'll take "being totally crazy" as a compliment!!!! Yes, the wheels are new chopper motorcycle wheels that I puchased as you see them, 17"(431mm)diameter x 13"(330mm)wide. The tire is 24" overall diameter and is 330mm wide also.

Other than the added rotational weight of the wheel/tire(which will be facilitated by a 3 speed hub/jack shaft assembly), it will have very similar rolling characteristics as a standard 24" bicycle tire because of the very round thread profile of this tire.

If you extend the thread profile outwards it's essentialy round ball..unlike an automotive tire of the same width, the contact area is only about 2"(50mm) even when leaning the bike to turn so rolling resitance will be quite low.

This tire is designed to support the rear of a 800lbs motorcycle so at full air presure there will be minimal wheight compression on the tire.

I know that some people aren't big fans of wide tire bikes and that's cool But I know one thing for sure...this particular bike will have some very cool unique styling and component details throughout that I hope and think most will appreciate.

As with every complete bike or frame I build, I'm really excited and passionate about building this special bike and I have no doubt that it will show in the final result.

The fabrication of the frame should be starting soon...
