I've been lurking on here some time and really like a lot of stuff here.
So I thought it was time to sign up.
My German is even worse than my english, so I will do most of my posts in english.
Should there be anything you do not understand just ask me to clarify or explain myself.
I can understand german writing most of the time.
Some of you might know me from, UndergroundVelo forum (I am an UndergroundVelo junkie)., facebook, RatRodBikes, etc....
Besides bikes I like Kustom Kulture, music, everything classic that has wheels on it,
steam and dieselpunk machines,etc....
I live in a small city; Vlaardingen, wich is next to Rotterdam(my birthplace).
I'm living together with my girlfriend and a lot of animals
one bird, one turtle, one iguana and 10(!!!!) rats.
I've been tinkering with bikes since I was a jong boy.
And I always went everywhere on a bike, even holiday's(England, Belgium, France).
When I got my drivers license I stopped riding my bicycle
About 6 years ago my girlfriend and Me bought 2 2nd hand cruisers of unknown brand,
and I rebuild them.
after another 3 years I lost my job, about the same time the financial crisis kicked in.
In the meantime I started buying more bikes and rebuilding/customizing them.
1 year ago I started "Freakshow Bicycles" with no money.
The most important thing is that I have fun building custom bicycles,
and if others like what I do I will build for them too or help them build something.
my goal is not to become rich or famous, just to have a good time doing it.
